In a historical period marked by a relentless search for high-potential CEOs and fierce competition, it becomes necessary for companies to develop effective engagement strategies to avoid losing their top managers.

One of the most efficient ways to do this is to give them the opportunity to continuously train and improve their skills, thus ensuring a high job retention rate and avoiding the loss of talents.

If until a few years ago the traditional training mode was the one in the classroom, due to the digital age and because of the Covid-19 pandemic, more and more companies have been using e-learning.

E-learning was born with the aim of overcoming the problem of the classic training classes that underlined low concentration rates and that, consequently, led employees to be demotivated.

Among the many possible applications of e-learning, one in particular has proved to be valid: microlearning.

Microlearning is an e-learning training approach that consists of teaching micro-content, or bite size content, with short, simple, detailed exercises focused on a single topic. To make the lessons more interactive you can also use multimedia content such as video, audio and games, which have proven to be very effective in increasing the attention rate.

What distinguishes this agile and innovative learning path from traditional ones is the ability to customizethe program according to your level, your skills and your shortcomings.

In addition, the opportunity to access from any device allows the individual to choose the most suitable time in relation to their needs, in full autonomy and control, resulting in better accomplishments.

Among the various advantages of this approach are, finally, a greater involvement of the individual, a decrease in costs compared to traditional courses and, consequently, a higher return on investment (ROI).
